AV is a long tome forum member and volume arc seller.................damn Im thinking about pulling the trigger......so whats the dealeo on this kite.
Ive owned Synergy's, V1s, and Phanny's. Why shouldn't I buy this kite. Have I missed something different by not owning a Vortex?
tridude,
I have the 10 and 12 vortex and you are not going to find a more stable ARC. Has a really smooth gruntiness and i have been sitting on my hands about
this kite. the Vortexs have become Andrews goto kites and the 14 would play nicely in the quiver for him when he finally breaks a 100lbs. It can
lift you but is not what i would call lifty like a scorpion or even venom II. Downside is because it sits more in the window is not a great upwind
engine, although i think it would be an awesome wave riding kite on the water since it is so well behaved. I have some video of the 12 hooked to a
buggy for around 45 minutes with no problems until it finally lifted the buggy up in a gust, but put it down and continued to just zenith. the twelve
was the kite i learned to jump on with Adam B as my teacher. attached the video below for your enjoyment (it was a great day last spring at the WW
bash- for what its worth it was the 3rd time i had ever flown an arc and maybe 5th time ever on a mtn board) The vortex is our confidence builder and
if you pick it up, i would probably be interest when you let it go in a yr or two.

yeah the seller is a great guy. i know that it is still in the bag because he's had it for sale for a long time now and the pictures of it where
still in plastic. he doesn't post much on the forum but he is a great guy to deal and is very honest. buy with confidence
The kite is not mine, I am selling it for my neighbor, and yes, it is still brand spanking new, still wrapped in plastic. Most likely the last one in
the whole world since we bought the last batch (of Vortex) from Vligerop a few years back.
