I've been on the trail of these for at least 10 yrs. It was a pretty exclusive, and hi-quality, US item back then.
Now there are a number of Chinese knock-offs out now too.
It would be fun to take it up to the circling hawks and watch their reaction to it!
The Air Hogs big, air-powered, free-flight one was pretty awesome too!

my brother has a ??? bat but it's about 12" total wingspan by about 6" length. it flaps it's wings and can take off (off smooth floor). it turns left
right (sort of) and has real simple remote. no idea where he got it and he can't remember as he's had it for a year or so and never used it.
the best thing is it's got red LEDs for eyes and would be the absolute best for camping/late night outdoor fun.
