PKD Century II vs PL Reactor
Hello guys, I know I just started with kitebuggying (well... I didn't even have my first ride actually...) but I'd like to have your feelings about
this two kites: the PKD Century II and the PeterLynn Reactor II
Which one do you think performs better especially in low/medium winds? I read a comment made by John Holgate about the Century 2.8 saying that it
pulls as much as the Ozone Method 4 and even more... So is it true also compared to the Reactor, meaning same pull with less Flat Area?
I'm not buying it in the near future, first I have to practise a lot, but I like to start thinking about it in advance

what is low - wind for you?
i once saw a very low wind race - the only kites still in the air were a flysurfer speed3 21 sqm and a 10.8 sqm reactor II. the reactor II looked like
more fun than the big monster 21sqm speed3. wind was probably 4-6 knots.
Kites:
Tubes: Ozone Zephyr 17 * Naish Helix 2009 10.5 qm * Cabrinha Access 2003 9qm * Wipika Hydro 2001 9qm *
Arcs: PL Scorpion 13, 16 qm; PL Synergy 10 qm
open cell: PL Twister I 7.7 * PKD Buster II 3qm
Paragliders: Gradient Bright Classic (with check) * Swing Mistral 1 (groundhandling) *Advance Alpha 3 (groundhandling)

Don't know about PKD, but I have Beamer Bob's old 5.5 ReactorII and it is by far the best motor in the fleet in 8-12,15 tops MPH.Smooth as silk.

The Method takes a bit of wind from what I have heard so the size defference makes sense. It isn't a race kite.
The Original Century was a full on race kite and I think the II is as well ? Of those 2 a beginer might find the Reactor II a bit more forgiving /
rewarding. Still giving you a competetive kite for getting speed up.
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.

Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
