I'm planning to add a 7 metre user friendly kite to my kit this year. Pansh kites fit my skinny kite budget so though I'm aware of their dubious
reputation on this forum, I'm going to take the risk and snag either a Blaze or the new Flux.
Blaze is tried and true and a little cheaper than the Flux. But Flux may be a bit more agile in light winds....do you think it'd be worth the extra
coin to snag a Flux rather than a Blaze?
Sorry, couldn't help myself I have not had the chance to put either in the
sky, but I do recall seeing posts about the blaze on the forum here before. Most posts I recall say something to the effect of the blaze needing to be
dialed in to fly right. Once tuned, people seem to like them.
P.S. Don't ever worry about flying Pansh. It's a kite. As long as it works for you and you have fun with it, that's all that means anything.
You might want to drop an U2U/email to Blake. Swell guy and he should have a lot of insights on both those kites. Currently a Pansh Team Rider, I believe.
And the lions... they aren't all that bad.

Sam

The blaze is a beginner/intermediate kite where as the flux is an intermediate kite. The flux will out perform the blaze, but not by much.
Get the flux, better kite, get the blaze, better graphics.

Blaze AR is 3.2, flux is a bit higher ... since you buggy, the higher AR of the flux may be of interest ... I think it would tend to sit a little more
forward in the window and be a better upwind.... can't say for sure as I am still on the hunt for a buggy myself .... is the flux worth the extra $120
over the Blaze? again, it can't say for sure until I get a buggy and prove it to myself ....
need WELDNGOD to chime in ... he has quite a few pansh from blaze's to sprints... maybe u2u him
If your budget will allow, pansh has the 3 for 2 thing still on ... pick three kites and pay the two higher prices and the third is free
cheezy's core 6.7 is a proven buggy engine
If you are ever looking for smaller (higher wind) buggy engines, there is a PKF member that has new PL Viper's 2.6m & 3.9m for $60 less than
anyone else .... kinda like RTF at a KO price http://www.stevensaero.com/search.php?mode=search&page=1

I am pretty sure this refers to a blaze II.
I was pretty fond of my blaze. i am trying to decide if I want to repair it after my brother crashed it. It lasted years and was a good kite. I
think the flux ships with the extras like the kite killers and is a little more refined in the design. I'm not sure it is worth $120 more if that is
the price difference.
If that core is a comparable price, I flew a 5m core and really liked it. Have fun!

Since we are both in B.C. and if you don't mind paying a bit of shipping, I can send you my flux 6.0 to take a test drive. It is the last prototype
before the official release so very very similar to official release flux ... graphics are different that is about it I think.

Thanks BigBear. I tried a Flux proto last Sept at SOBB and quite liked it but just am not sure its worth $120 more than the Blaze.
The Core has come up a few times here as another option but when I last flew one it seemed somewhat sluggish when compared to the Flux.

That should get the PL afficionados whipped up ... ... a Core
sluggish next to a pansh ..... :wee::moon:

As far as I can tell the Legend doesn't come in a 7 m...5.5 seems to be as large as it goes.
