North coast of Oregon. A great beach for buggyn, landboarding and has gained a lot of popularity lately for kite boarding as well. We do have a very nice event in early sept. Worth checking out.

Sunset beach is "Da Bomb". I finally got to do my long anticipated high speed run down the beach last week. All the way from South Jetty, to Gearhart....and back!! About 11 miles each way!!! GPS says I was hitting 40mph at some points!! Gotta love the look on peoples faces when you zoom past them in their cars (speed limit for cars is 25 mph) Not my fastest, but got heart poundin'.

Now my other favorite run is River Beach, (just north of the south jetty) Perfect for those days when you've got N.W. winds (plus its obscure, so no pesky tourists to hit!!) Just watch out though, when the tide comes up, the beach completely disappears. You could find yourself dragging your buggy thru the woods to get back to your car!
