Question for Mako users...

How do you jump?

I had a great session on the S3 21 and the Mako 150 this afternoon but most of the jumps would have looked like someone had hit me with a tazer on the way up - ugly as sin!

Got a few freakin' epic ones though!!! just couldn't get them consistent - can't 'ollie' the board like I do with my more flexible boards, don't get as much pop and edging upwind then leaping was inconsistent...

... best results from just riding up the faces of 'waves' but they also resulted in lo-ooong floats downwind and not so much height...

So - help :D

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

As soon as I saw the post I knew what you were going to ask. Speed is the key. Don't edge as much as with your spleene board. Edge as you send it. I have had better results with a faster, smaller kite than with the 19M S2.

Thanks! I'll keep at it then :) problem is the choppy, wavy lake doesn't help my timing either...
