Wet Weather Gear?
Not to sound too cheesy here but...
What's everyone wearing? Besides your pads and helmet (LOL).
I get a lot of rain/drizzle here and average 40-50F degree winter winds.
I've even considered tossing on my wet suit under my jackets and layers. Anyone tried?
I've also considered full-on snow goggles to keep the wind from pelting my eyeballs as I ride...
Actually started to hail on me last week (maybe that's a sign to pack up, and get home).
Interested to hear what works for everyone.
Thanks.
Steve

What do you fly??? Not that its a big deal and all, but I found that the foils get sluggish when they get too wet. I think that lei have a bit of
advantage in this department. Mainly on turns and powerstrokes. One thing I highly recommend is a set of pants with a good belt. Maybe its just me,
but when I got soaked in the rain, my pants kept falling down no matter how tight the drawstring was. Other than my normal gear I keep a towel to dry off and cover my seats so that I don't get them wet on the drive
home. Be prepared for slip n slide cause the ground can get slick awfully fast, which can be super fun if you are ready for it. Don't think I'd want
to be out in hail though. Ouch!!!!

Thanks Shaggs,
Updated signature with my quiver/board.
Great point on the LEI vs Foils (I fly both).
I'm going to dig out my old Gortex pants and give them a try next time I'm out too..
I'm primarily seat harness on land, so I have managed not to "pants" anyone on the beach here yet...LOL. But I'll keep in mind when using my waist
harness.
Good info.

I had a cheap rain suit that I used to wear on the beach. It disintegrated though. Now that you mention it I might need another one for my next
coast trip. I don't go to the beach much so I often fly even if there is light rain.
