Have you talked to Dave at the Kite Connection? I haven't in a year or so but I used to get emails from him about specials he had on Rev inventory. Or try posting on the forum at GWTWkites.com.

Deano those are sweet. I would love one. But no place around here to fly indoor. I'd have to make friends with a school or something. And the closest one of those is 20miles away!

Um.... WOW what an eye opener!! Flew for the 1st time in months today, met a local revkite.com forum member at Kitehenge (Chambers bay).

He walked me thru some set-up, then set me loose. Twitchy and sensitive is an understatement! It takes a bit to retune responses to minor movements and not pulling entire side to turn.

Raym try to get a REv vet to help you out the 1st day, they are a different animal than a quad power kite. 10-15min with a pro can save lots of hassle. But you are gonna love it!:wee:

I took a full 30min of video, but my editiing software has decided not to boot up, so I am trying to get it sorted out..

Here is the clip of 1st flight. Well I had a brief 5min session before I realised I had not pulled the camera out..

1st Rev flight

The hard part is retuning your hands. Tiny movements have the rev spinning.

HEH yeah I did a 15min sesion on my 3.3m Buster mid-day, going back the the rev was exciting for the 1st min or two!

I can't do anything fancy on a rev yet so luckily I was not in a position to put myself in tooo much trouble..

It already is! Really scary thing is I ALMOST flew it at home lastnight, but by the time I got out there the winds started shifting 90* and getting all puffy so I said forget it.

Note to self : need some shorter 30-50ft lines..:singing:

Just found a local guy looking to sell a B series midvent. making me a nice deal, now to sell some plasma or a kid to buy it....:bigok:

Ohhh my. What a weekend!

Spent 2 days with the iQuad team at thier West Coast Rev Clinic. AWESOME group of guys. Anyone looking to fly a rev, or that can and wants to fly better keep your eyes open on the Revkites.com website. These clinics are more than worth the investement! Flew John Baressi's shortline setup for a good hour, nothing like getting to Fly on a Pro's equipment.

Bought a second Rev on Sat, they are worse than power kites, the RULE is you can't have only one. So I have to follow the rules...

If I can sell the Venom off I may hit up Tak if he still is looking to sell. BUT 5 billion Arcs just hit the market this week, damn P2 release!!:flaming:
