Blade IV 6.5

Wow. This thing is amazing. I don’t have much experience on blades prior to this one, but it feels great. The adjustable bridle system is really handy. The day I got it was only about 5 mph at first so I put it on the top bridle setting and she flew great, then when it got bigger (10-12 range) I was able to fly the second lowest bridle setting (it seems like the lower the more lift/power, but the down side is it makes the kite a little more sluggish and a little harder to zenith, but that’s not a problem if your in decent wind). Yesterday I had it out and when I left it was reading 12 mph and it felt pretty good but the jumps weren’t spectacular, just nice, 4 feet or so. Then later In the day it picked up a bit and we were all able to pop 6 foot jumps that were floaty as could be. My bud seemed to think it had more lift than the 6.6 he had flown. But we’re probably gonna compare them side by side at some point when the 6.6 is down at the hill. Anyway, it’s a great kite, love the setup and everything. Today I’m ridiculously sore and sunburned and its great. The crossover bridling seems to be pretty cool too, everyone that had seen the 6.6 fly noticed a difference in its shape when you turn. The edge of the wings curls a little bit and lays into the turn. Over I love this thing. Ill post more when I get more flight time in some bigger winds.
