Thoughts on the Ozone Little Devil 3m please........
As above really peeps, thoughts etc on Little devil 3m?
Would be a starter kite for the wife and one for the quiver for me.
Is it worth £75 of my English money guys?
Its 2 years old, only flown 3 times, comes complete with lines, handles and bag.

it's an Ozone so that speaks to high quality build/materials and it's Ozone's low/medium aspect ratio (AR) so that speaks to beginner/intermediate
level.
it's been flown 3 times doesn't tell much it could have been "flown" high speed into the concrete ground a 1000 times in the course of 3 flights or it
could have been set up, launched/flown for 2 seconds and put away on 3 occaisions. or anything in between.
you'd have to see feel.
if it's in good to near mint condition (which is what i would infer the condition to be from the seller stating its only been flown 3 times) 90 is
super low price.
However...the Ozone Little Devil model has been discontinued for I'd say nearly 8 years. LD has been succeeded by the Samurai, Samurai II, and then
the Flow (and now maybe something else). Unless your are looking at an old advertisement or the buyer bought it new from someone's closet i would ask
a couple more questions about age.
I believe Ozone advertised the new FLow (when it was new) as being more like the "orignal" Little Devil than the two versions of Samerais.
That Little Devil will be more than adequate as longs as it (and it's lines/handles) is in decent condition. Get some KKs.
also- i bought an LD 4.5 (new) a long time ago and it cost about $650.

Awesome price on a great staple of a kite. Although the LD is a very old model (first power kite introduced by Ozone), it is an awesome one. We have
several people here in our group that still use the Little Devils and they are still working exceptionally well after all these years - and in our
environment of the dry lakebeds, that really says a ton about these kites and their quality.

My kids have a 1.5 Lil Devil and it has served them well. Bridle lines are knotted, not sewn but they are done nicely (and may be sewn on the larger
models). I find it a pit more finicky theyn their 1.2 sting and IIRC it lacks dirt outs (maybe not, but I think it does) but it is rather bomb proof.
I often fly it like a rev / sport kite on days they put it away and that's fun - its rather nimble.
I've kite skied with it on a ballistic day. If the 3m is like the 1.5, it should serve your wife and you well.

They fact he says the kite is only 3 years old should be a red flag.
It has been out of production at least double that amount of time.
I find the LD can be a bit punchy but is a good kite. The Sami' that followed is still a go to kite for a few people I know.
The price sounds about right.

Do it
I have two of these one in the size ur talking about
They are bomb proof
Pull like trucks lots of low grunt but not hardly any lift
In a buggy once u get clipping along they are hard to beat upwind and they just seem to feed on aparent wind
Better than the sammi in my opinion

dman,
i'm thinking you likely did a back to back comparo of the 2.1 LD and the 2 BeamIV?
what's your say on it?
we all know about Ozone 'quality this and that' but my BeamrIII3m was/is my go to buggy kite(mainly due to wind) around here and i got no complaints
whatsoever about it.
i tried to get a 5m Blurr vs 4.5LD comparo done but never really happened (i believe the couple times we tried the wind did not co-operate). i do have
the idea in mind that the 4.5 LD is a little more punchy than the way newer 5m Blurr (with much larger/longer heavier "Pro" handles).

The Little Devil 3.0 is a great kite! The 3.0 was my "go to kite" for years and was my most useful kite in my quiver for my buggy. It was just
enough where if I worked the kite then I was off and running and not overpowered. It is a great kite to learn on or just cruise.

Nice!
Assuming it's your first power kite. Get some time under it, get used to it. Then worry about the next kite!
Also think about what you want to do. Static/Buggy/Landboard/Kiteboard?
