MBS Core 16

I`ve seen reviews and heard great things about the MBS Core 16 and have found it for £200 on a website.

However, when I went to check the MBS website, they didn`t even sell it. Does this mean they no longer make them? Anyone know why? I guess maybe people were unwilling to spend an extra £100 for a Pro board that wasn`t so dissimilar (sp?) from a Core 16....

Anyone know anything different?

Thanks - Occy

PS What`s the difference between a strop, a chicken loop and a harness line? Excuse my ignorance, I can`t spot much of a difference and I`m unable to see one except in a picture as there are no kite shops round here :(

Allright, the core 16 is gone. Not sure exactly why, but they did discontinue it, and the pricing came down on the comp series.

A strop is a line that goes between your handles and hooks into your harness. Also the same a the harness line.

A Chicken loop is the last little loop on a de-power kite that hooks to your harness. Most chicken loops have a safety that can be pulled and release the kite.

Thanks for that reply Scoopy, does this mean I can use a harness line as a strop? Because I have plenty of them lying around with my windsurfing kit!!
