Maybe these guys can be the next best board / truck makers?

My neighbor somehow or another knows the owners of this place http://www.surf-rodz.com/. I believe he said the owner is a metal fabricator or something who surfs / skates as a hobby and has created his own decks and trucks and snowboards.

Gear looks totally topnotch and uber cool. If approached, I'm wondering if he'd consider filling the hole GI left behind.

I will admit I was more than a little intrigued about this when you mentioned it during our phone conversation. It looks like they are mainly concentracting on trucks/hangers/baseplates and collaborating with other companies for their decks (although they do make some of their own).

The adjustable baseplates is very, very cool.
