windy all weekend in SE texas
i am going down to the coast friday afternoon and coming back late saturday morning....
thinking of riding just south of the state park... winds in the high teens friday and the low 20's saturday...
sundays gonna be good, too, but i gotta work :/
... anybody else thinking of going?

I will be in NACOGDOCHES at a Kite Festival.
Family Kite Fest
Annual Event in April
This is a community event for people of all ages. It covers over ten acres at the A.L. Mangham Jr. Regional Airport in Nacogdoches. There will be a
display of 6 to 8 mega-kites, courtesy of WhatAKite in Lufkin. In addition to this display, there are regular kites and space for families to fly
them. There are food and drink vendors, as well as snow cones and cotton candy. Games and activities include kite races, candy drops, bounce houses.
We are proud to offer FREE ADMISSION to the hundreds of families from the surrounding area who attend this annual event, April 14th from 10 - 2 pm.

Had a great day on friday myself. Lots of buggy miles, followed by a couple miles in the water.
I think the Cinco gathering is pushed back a week.... you going to join the gang then?

last I heard, Cinco is 5-12-12....10 yr wedding anniversary on the 11th...not sure at this time what the wifey want's to do.. I was thinking :puzzled:
