I think I need some help adjusting my lines

I bought my first power kite (A Ozone Flow 5M) at the end of last year and the shop I bought it from did not have a bar in stock for it so they had one shipped to me from Ozone.

The first time I tried to fly it the winds were spotty (4-6 MPH in land in Oregon) and the kite never would stay up. The second time I tried to fly I had went to the Oregon coast to fly and the wind was between 5 and 10 MPH but I still could not keep my kite up and when I did get it to fly it would not respond very well and end up dropping and I would spend the next 15 minutes getting every thing straighten back out to try to fly again. When I did get it to stay up for more the 15 seconds I notice the brake lines were slack and thought this did not look right. I do know how to fly a stunt kite did not think flying this kite should be that much different to fly.

Any help that you guys can give me to help keep my kite in the air would be much appreciated.

Your brake lines SHOULD be slack when flying. Hmm your 5m should easily be flying in 10mph winds. When you are flying the kite, the wind isint coming towards your face is it?:D
