Yup, waves. The water was mostly 2' deep where I was riding back and forth. Fun as hell ans wanted to do it all day.
Even when I caught my inside edge there I still have enough to forward momentum to get to the ice that wasn't under water. I didn't fall in once!

Kober ,in the summer I'm on bikes. Mostly mountain but occasionally on single speed road. Some friends of mine just went up to Lac St. Jean QC. for
some snowkiting. I was asked to go but $ is tight at the moment and time is tighter. :sniff:

Hey Chris,
No summer time kiting in the lakes? Looks like it could be a nice place to ride. Too much boat traffic and/or no interest in the water?

Lots of boat traffic on some, and we live in the mountains so the winds aren't very steady. Not bad on the ice but a pain on the water I would
assume. Some times, depending on location, the winds can be really good but it's hit or miss around here a lot.
After skimming with the fat skis I'm really interested in getting out on the water. It was wicked fun.
