Rough weekend (non kiting thankfully)
So thursday i felt like crap... i worked out too hard in the afternoon, and felt like i was getting a cold or some sinus crap... well i didnt sleep
very well thursday night, kept getting hot, then cold, and couldnt breath due to a ton of snot (gross i know lol).. so i called in on friday.. battled
a fever that peaked out at 103 and buckets of mucus.... friday night, once again couldnt get comfortable, so i got nothing for sleep...
i wake up yesterday morning and ive got hives on my neck and shoulders, and my face is pretty puffy... wow thats odd! so i pop a few benedryl and
fall asleep with some iced washcloths on my cheeks. well it kept getting worse so i went to a quick care here... got a deep muscle shot (which really
sucks) and a sub-dermal shot... it was supposed to clear me up in under 5 mins, and it didnt.... so off the the ER i go!
I get to the ER and they hand me a handfull of pills, and basically have me hang out for an hour. i think the shots finally started to kick in.
because my facial swelling was mellowing out a little. so now im on a steroid, some benedryl like stuff, and some stomach acid pills (histamine
control is a side effect i guess)... wahooo!
Finally got a good night sleep last night, facial swelling is almost gone, but im still covered in hives... lol cant figure out what caused it... the
only thing i had that i dont usually have is papa johns pizza on friday night... but ive had that pizza before and ive never had this happen :puzzled:
lol, hives really suck btw!
id post pics but... ew... no one wants to see that

Not sure about the hives, but if your pizza had come into contact with anchovies that had gone bad or any of the residue, it's one of the things that
can cause scrombroid food poisoning which would have set off the histamine reaction.
Get better.

Well back in the ER tonight!
My first no no food (found out what caused it)...."natures harvest" dry roasted edamame from walmart!
Lol ate a handfull and instantly puffed up. it cant be the soy, because I eat tons of soy sauce in marinades and sushi... So im not quite sure... But
me and that bag o beans dont mix lol!
So another shot, and more steroids! Wa-freakin-hooo!

Reaction to a massive drop in your blood stream of Capsaicin, I bet - you gotta burn out the germs with more peppers! :D
Sorry to hear that dude hope it's nothing serious...
A few weeks back I spent most of the day up-chucking and squirting at regular intervals ... it was either the wife's pumpkin soup or the dead dog that
was in the lake with me when I went kiteboarding :D
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

My wifes got some pumkin curry soup in the fridge for us , now you guys got me nervous.
Drew you might want to carry some benadryl with you at all times now , just in case it happens again when you least expect it.

Man, Kami, I haven't heard anyone say "up-chuck" since I was in high school (that was in the early 90's if you're wondering),...
we used to say it was a "technicolor yawn" too :megan:
I'm going to take a nap now

FLUSH is the key thing there ... nothing worse than having to chuck after you've sprayed the bowl.
Oh wait yes there is - having to chunder WHILE you're spraying the bowl :o
"Driving the porcelain bus" is a favourite of mine too :D phrase, not the doing!!!

It may be as simple as you are alergic to Round-Up. They have spliced a gene into soybean plants to make them resist round-up so they can spray the
crap out of them and not effect the sotbean plants. Scary HUH?:o:puzzled:
