Wheels

For a start i am from new zealand.

i am going to bulid my own pair of kite skates but i am not sure on wheels.

Are you able to use similar wheels to bike wheels but at the 12" size. This means they are spoked wheels liek on a bike.

And could people please tell me where they got theres and how much they cost. Please include currency so i can convert it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to the forum!

I got my wheels from a kids push scooter at a garage sale. For new wheels, try a place that sales kids bikes, golf carts, baby strollers etc. I suggest staying away from metal spoke wheels... the nylon wheels work better and last longer. Expect to pay about $12+ (usd) for each. Worried about the cost? Mine have lasted 15 years.
