KILL THE WABBIT

I don't know what in Hades made me think of this but I haven't been able to get it off my mind,...

So who remembers this:

One of my all time faves. Also love the bullfighter episode. The one where the bull swings his tail and fires bullets out his horns.

All studio animation short depts. were on a stricter budget by the 1950's.
So the only reason as many creative and memorable Warner's toons got produced then was because of
...one Wile E. Coyote!

Roadrunner was a hit, but didn't take as much creativity or scripting (let alone voice talent!)
However, all productions were allotted the same, limited man-hours to produce.

So, the animators and crew at "Termite Terrace" would punch-in one day for more work on the next Roadrunner,
(which they already finished) and used the extra hours to perfect the good Bugs stuff.

Some of our childhood memories may owe a lot to "creative bookkeeping!" :karate:
