A little too much spare time in the labs or some really mind altering vapors from the beakers......

I expect it would be kind of expensive for a cat toy. Just struck me as kind of a "wonder what the marketing pitch on something like this would be?".

Honestly the kids are fine with very basic toys. Duncan goes crazy over the pull tab off milk jugs.

Think this is the most extravagant cat toy in the house (at least that was originally purchased for that purpose). Some nights, Duncan will sit in corner and bat it back and forth between his paws for loooooong periods of time. Sort of like the feline equivalent of a kid's drum set. Waiting patiently for it to die.

Bridie has had several generations of squeaky balls. They are always referred to as "Baby" as she tends to cuddle them and have long protracted "conversations" with them... burbling to them and squeaking them in response. She will play catch with most balls, but if you toss her "Baby" she runs off and hides with it in a corner or underneath something and then spends 5 or 10 minutes making sure no one hurt it.

ATB,
Sam
