GIN Bar is in good condition.
Lines were recently replaced 2-3 sessions ago. Still "stiff".

Here is video from a low wind buggy session. At first I was telling Kober "There is no way we're riding in these low winds" But we were pleasantly
surprised with the 14m Gins
Snowkite session with 2 Gin Eskimo 14m's. Jaymz on skis. Konrad on the board.
It is low wind kite .... and we did quite few nice sessions with those .... Sandy Hook Beach ...... Kitestorm ..... Belmar Buggy Session .....
it was always a day saver ....
I am sure B-rok ..... will comment on that 14m ..... I am sure he have already few sessions with his .....

14m is the bomb. As much as I LOVED my Bego 600 I sold that after picking up Kober's 14. I'm 150#s and kiteboard on sand. Had the kite out in
measured 5-11mph winds off the ocean. Around 11 I was feeling a bit overpowered. At 7 I was jumping nicely. Kite is smooth and makes a lot of
power. Typical gGin quality in the bar, sail and bridle. Safety system is OK (release to rear lines) compared to their current 5th line system
(which is awesome) but it is sufficient for the kite given its age and if you fly properly you don't ever need to rely on this. If you want a low
wind weapon with smooth power, good depower and good jumping with nice float in the sub 10mph range, this is your kite and at that price, why would
you even second guess?
That blue and yellow Eskimo in your video is really nice. Lucky dog. the fella who owns that one :smug:

Jaymz can tell you exactly if he looks at the serial number inside the center cell as their that begins with the year and month or month / year, can't
recall.
Don't let the age fool you though. These are really nice kites.

I won't be the 1st to fly Gin out our way. On my 1st snowkite visit and a few after a couple had very early model Gin FB kites . They were over the
top impressed with them. One could see the quality in design and flight characteristics easily.
I suspect my next post will by a big rave for Gin ! :wee:
