HQ Apex III 7.5m Depower - $500 (Traded)

Note: This kite has been traded...
========================
HQ Apex III 7.5m RTF, Green/white color pattern.
Now $500 shipped to continental US. Shipping to other desitinations can be negotiated.

Have reluctantly decided to sell this because it is too close in functionality to an Ozone 8m Access I bought late last year. This was my very first depower kite and I think it performs great for the typically gusty winds in my area. I am the 2nd owner. This was originally Dino's personal kite (from DaKitez) & was flown once on beach and about 3 times on grass before I purchased it last summer. I have only flown it on grass. No crashes. No rips, tears or repairs. About the only thing wrong that I have found is that one of the little bungie loops on the end of the bar does not always retract and it was this way when I got it.

Pictures can be seen at:

Thank you for looking!
Jim

A couple of Trainers,
Some Fixed Bridle Kites (1.2m - 14m),
and some Depower Kites (3m - 20m),

I hear you, rocfighter. Wish I was rich enough so I could just give away the kites I have that are less used. The Apex 7.5 got me into depower kites and helped me get started riding a board. I would still be using it on gusty days if I didn't own the Access 8m.

Well Dave, then we have something in common besides kiting... being between jobs (and it really sucks when you have to look at all the deals popping up on PKF). I hope you find work very soon, would love to see this Apex end up with you. Jim

Is this kite still lufting in the 'For Sale' breeze? I might be interested if it is.

Yes, it's still available. I see that elnica responded first to you regarding his kite (identical HQ Apex III 7.5m). If you don't end up making a firm deal with elnica, feel free to contact me.

Thank you. Hope your deal does go through with elnica as his kite has been available for a longer time than mine. You got an amazing deal on that HQ Apex III 5m from Scott, so the 7.5m will go well with that. Jim

I'm stoked on the 5M.. also managed to pick up a 10M Access.. with the 7.5 in the mix, I'll be smiling like a kid at christmas..

I'm trying to chase down the 15 Phantom from mougl, but haven't made contact yet.

Anyone else selling a 12+Meter depower foil? It'll be my summer/winter kite.

My kite funds are burning a hole in my pocket.

Yep, sounds like Christmas to me! Congrats, I think you will love all 3 of those. Mougl's PII 15m has been making lots of people drool. If you wanted a Phantom I 15m, Philip (pbc) is selling one KO at a great price. Just completed a trade with him and he's a great guy to deal with. You would need a bar & lines, but I think Beamer Bob still has a bar w/ lines that would work on that kite.

Just wanted to give KsKiteAddict :thumbup: for being a great buyer and seller. Deal with him in confidence!

Also bump for a good kite. I had fun with this one. If I remember correct I think I hit around 45 mph with this kite on the beach and there was more in it but I was running out of beach :) . SO yes it is a great first de-power but dont think you will out grow it any time soon.
