WTF is summer (w stands for where)

Just looked the next weeS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s forecast. Clouds and rain for the next days. Not one day with above 20C(68F). We have had only 4 days above 20C this year.
Yesterday we waited all day for the predicted late afternoon 20kt winds. They came, along with driving rain and hail.
This has to be our worst spring/summer I can remember.

I feel your pain... We get your leftovers.

On the plus side masses of bugs have not hatched yet, everything is green, and you can still push a kite stake into the ground.

I just looked at sailflow; the highest wind predicted in the next week is 8kts.

How far down the coast do I have to go for decent weather?

you would think the heat would increase the air pressure and as the pressure changes ther would be alot of wind. I guess not. Wind everywhere sucks. I am happy to get 7mph these days. and that only happens a couple times a week if im lucky.

Hey Scudley ol Buddy
there is a webcam at seasideaquarium.com
if you scroll down halfway on the right you will find the control. If you look far enough to the North you can see Gearhart beach which turns into Sunset beach a few miles down.

It has been pretty kind of off and on down here, but when it's on it rocks, but you know. I remember you saying I don't think I have ever gone 5 miles without having to loop my kite!
Looking forward to seeing you soon,
Chris
I missed you BR hope to see you soon!

I took my wetsuit off 2 Sunday's back, and got the sunburned thighs ... then I had to put the wetsuit back on cos it's cold again ... don't care about the heat so long as the cold brings the wind!

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

It hasn't been too bad around here, lots of stuff between 10 and 20 mph... just already friggin' hot and the wind is dying out.

We had a REALLY mild winter in ATL, which means more bugs and more heat this summer. Did some great flying this winter though.

Summer's here so it's not really ever blowing above 5 unless it's a storm, now it seems the whole state will burn before summer is over....

so far rev15 has been the go-to when it finally is blowing 7+ hot enough I wish I did water riding!

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.
