Where to camp near Sunset Beach

My girlfriend and I would like to camp near Sunset Beach on the 3rd and 4th. The closer the better. On a beach would be great. I guess we could look for spots on other buggyable beaches as well. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Take Care,
Chris

overnight on the beach? how many does your boat, er I mean your tent sleep?
You can camp at fort stevens state park, just north by the ship wreck. KOA is across the street from the park.

Sunset lake resort is right there at the enterance to Sunset beach. I have stayed there a couple of times.

Kind of creapy place. Strange mix ( to a Canadian ) of God Bless and bad drugs ? More of a full time trailer park than resort.

Fort Stevens park is great but you should probably reserve a spot. KOA accross the street is also good I have stayed there twice. If it is rainy you can opt for a basic cabin and not have to pack wet gear up. Usually you can enter the beach at Fort Stevens by the ship wreck .

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

But We only send blade runner to Sunset RV park. Stay clear of this place as the county has so many fines against them that it is only a matter of time before it becomes a county park. Fort Stevens for tent camping and rvs is the best around. KOA is great for full hookups for rvs and cabins. Though the cabins cost as much as a motel room. Kampers West is a great RV park. Lewis and Clark RV and golf is new but out of town a bit. Then there is Jimmy's back yard or my back yard. Lol

Awesome, thanks everyone. I will check out Ft. Stevens,
hopefully they still have a spot open. If not I will beg for a spot in a backyard lol.
