Any details Kiteboyza? Looks like a tribute to the SilverArrows. I like it. Trailiing edge and nose look pretty baggy in the pics but could have been
light wind?
Any info on fabric? Watertightness? Windranges etc?
Really Doneski? You have proof or are you just one of the many sheep on here or trying to impress others with anti Pansh slurs :dunno:
Maybe they dont overcharge seven fold like all the others

Number of intakes seems to be different, but specs for either are hard to find.
Pansh site clearly states wrt the color scheme (or lack there of): "The kite production will have a pattern on it." Yeah, that shouldn't make a
difference, but by the same token it shouldn't be used to villify it.
It makes sense that the chose different colors for the intakes from a QA inspection standpoint.

I agree Indigo_wolf. Do we really want every company to reinvent the wheel with every kite? I don't think that is realistic. I have both panshes
and flysurfers and I like them both for what they are. My point has been though, don't expect what you pay for a pansh to give you all that comes
with flysurfer. If you want that, expect to pay the same for both. I personally don't. I want to be able to recommend pansh because it allows
people to get into the sport for a lower cost. I suppose it is my gateway kite of choice. It allows people to get out and fly.

Do the same comparison to a Speed 1, sam.
Perhaps when the Aurora is a fully finalized product that might be a worthwhile exercise.
For depower kites, the bar/safety system is also a big part of the package and thus far there is no information on the Aurora bar.
The comparisons in my original post was for illustration purposes only.
I chose the Speed 3 because I assumed the comparisons were being made based on aesthetic similarities
Looking at the two pictures, it looks like the trailing edge of the Speed is straight/perpendicular wrt to the wingtips, while the trailing edge on
the Aurora tapers forward at the wingtips.
But wait.... that can't possibly have more impact on the flight characteristics of the two kites than the fact that they are both white and have
colored intakes.
My mistake :embarrased: ... let the brouhaha continue!!!

I've been known to say "thank god for the Chinese , without them we would not be able to afford this" such is the state of MY economic conditions. To

I'd still prefer to buy a (gently) used kite of a known brand, quality and innovation
than a new clone-type of unknown or so-so quality.
The prices can be close enough, and I may help out a Stateside bro with the purchase.

One picture leads me to believe it will be 5th line safety. I wonder if that will work with Pansh's bar system set up ? ;-)
Much smarter bridle than the Blaze II.
I was expecting Pansh to come out with bigger closed cell FB kites. This is a twist ? :puzzled:
they got an opting for a 19 meter but no pictures yet, i have a feeling that this is going to be a great kite just my opinion though. Based on my
past pansh experience of course.

it is a 5th line safety and it is double pulley on each side bridal. no jetflaps or bar. has lot's of lift and power pansh have made great leaps
over the past couple of years in materials and design. if you aint flown one for a while try it you might like it.
They refer to a RTF package or KO? I am interested in seeing the bar ?
I am not sure I get the logic in selling a kite in multi sizes with or without a bar and then offering only an 8m without bar for sale? What is that
about?
Wow, that seems like a huge shortcut to maintain the same number of cells and aspect ratio from 8m to 19m! Most top tier companies almost always
increase cell count and to a lesser degree AR as the size increases. For the price it would be nice to try one out. Might be a huge bargain or not
worth the price.

Sam,
It looks like your assumption is correct; if you see the click on the line plan image that is now posted on the Pansh webpage, you can see that the
trailing edge tapers forward:
I know that imitation is kindest form of flattery, but Pansh couldn't come up with new designated bridle connection points on the kite than to copy
the Flysurfer ones verbatim?
The "dual" intake sounds interesting, but it's difficult to understand the poor English description on their website to imagine what exactly they are
attempting to say.
I did notice that the Aurora has a sewn leading edge seam along the entire leading edge. I'm curious to see how this affects the kite's performance in
the air.
If we compare the Aurora to the specs on the Flysurfer Psycho 4 when comparing AR and number of cells we find that 6m, 8m, 10m, 12m, and 15m all have
29 cells. The 6m and 8m have an AR of 4.6 and the 10m, 12m, and 15, have an AR of 4.8.
In the Speed 3 line of Flysurfers they all have 39 cells......and they all have an AR of 6.0......
So it does seem a coincidence that they do follow a similar pattern as Flysurfer in regards to number of cells in relation to AR.
After flying the Pansh Adam I am cautiously optimistic about the Aurora series of kites from Pansh. I would like to see if they have a bar offering.
Just an observation.......
At least the color scheme on the Aurora's is way better than the "Lobster" on the Adam......although a Chinese tiger would have been an awesome
graphic.....or a Dragon......hmmmmmm

My quiver is stuffed with arcs but only one flysurfer......the point I was trying to make was in response to my good friend BB who had made an
incorrect assumption about the cell counts and AR on the Aurora.....
But to the lighter side.......
I started on Pansh and yes it was a rough start.....I dropped using them but never stopped watching them.....tried some of their new kites as they
came out....the Adam is a very impressive kite IMHO.......
Pansh has a bit of a black eye due to their history and the way they used to or may still do business.... oh well.... do we hold grudges or move and
take advantage of some sweet kites at some sweet prices.......
Remember PL is made in China, Ozone is made in Vietnam.....Yes I know their research teams are in their parent countries.......but.......
Thinkpads and Thinkstations where also made in China for IBM....now they carry the brand name of the actual manufacturer Lenovo and are made and
sourced in China just as they have always been......still a good machine as far as PC's go.......
After WWII the U.S. and the allies gave Japan the blueprints to several products to help them rebuild......sewing machines comes to mind....the Singer
clones......at first they were not so hot and had some issues.....but it did not take the Japanese long to dial it in and make a better product than
the Singer Corp......and I can attest to this first hand as I collect vintage sewing machines because you can buy them cheap and wow are they great at
fixing kites and buggy seats!!!!
So if we apply the above analogy to Pansh......do they have it down now????? Have they learned enough now where they don't copy anymore and are
developing a better product......
If the Adam is any indication I would say yes.....
IMHO Pansh's history with their product quality and their reputation with their early dealer network are there biggest obstacles to overcome. Many
people have shut the door on them because of this and some rightfully so......in the end it is up to Pansh to restore both customer relations along
with a quality product if they are to continue moving forward in the kiting industry......
Personally.....I'd like to see them make a go of it.......after all...even though I really like the Adam's.....and think Flysurfer's are the cat's
meow.....I have yet to fly a kite that will get me to put down my arcs.....
All Im saying here Ken is as follows in case you misunderstood my statement
Everytime a company makes a kite, one or two notorious Flysurfer owners on here shouts that it looks like a Flysurfer/has cells/baffles/five lines
etc.
You dont hear Goodyear shouting at Continental that black rubber is there trade mark now do you?
Happy flying
