can a kite wing make enough lift to jump with it like u can with a kite but with a mountainboard

In the UK, they're about $1100, although there are 3 sizes and a lighter/stronger pro version. If you keep your eye open on eBay you see them from

What is the minimum windspeed needed for these things on the beach?

With the dirtsurfer, about 9 mph.
with a mountain board, about 12mph.
there's no real upper limit to windspeed. I've flown in about 40mph winds. however if its gusty, its more hard work.
We've decided to go for a speed record. 50mph with the kitewing and dirtsurfer.
ANy ideas for location would be good
