Shops in Hawaii?

Hi everyone, I'm new here and looking for some help.

Currently vacationing in Hawaii, Princeville Kaui'i this week then off too Honolulu on Friday. Walked through a small toy shop the other day here and they had a small 1M foil for sale that got my interest going. I didn't buy it, 80.00 seemed steep.

Anyway long story short, seems that 3M kites are hard to find around here I did find a guy thats selling the HQ Rush and Hydra at a real good price but not sure if those are the right kites for me. So I'm wondering if there are any shops in Oahu or Kaui'i that anyone can recommend or if any locals have anything they may want to sell to a newbie.

Trying to stay within 150-200 range and be able to pick up something by this coming weekend.

Thanks and good winds to you all.

there is a kite board shop, south of Kapaa,
Kauai Water, ski, and surf, Co
4-356 Kuhio Highway, Kapaa, HI 96746
(808) 822-3574 ‎

stopped in a couple of times to chit chat, they would know.

Great place to vacation, One of the best beaches I found to buggy on the Islands, is north of the firing range/air strip at the end of the road(N. Nohili RD, hwy 50) on the west side of the island, Polihale State Park.

Appex buggy, Libre hardcore buggies.
Flexboardz. Blokarts.
PKD Century Soulflys. NPW's. Nasa Stars.
A few other less flown oddballs,
Line sets from 10" to 328" or 2m to 100m.
worlds only AQR that works.
North American distributor for PKD.

Also, be aware that kiteboarding is about all they do on the Islands, only met a hand full of locals that buggy and that was on Maui next to the airport, go figure.

Thanks for the info Jeff. I'll stop by there a little later today and have a look.

I'm actually not sure if I want to get into boarding, kitesurfing, buggies, or what. Honestly this started out with trying to find a Prism Snapshot 2.4 which don't seem to exist on the islands at all. I thought it would be fun to spend time flying one down by the beach, that I can take back home to San Diego with me, and that would be a great first-step into the world of power kites.

Thanks again for the feedback, seems like a great community here.

I looked also the 1st time to the Islands, took a couple of kites with the other times we went. Just need to figure a way to get the buggy there and a way to haul it around the island.

I can send you a 3m, or ? You can get it in a couple of days if you email me your address.
A shameless plug if I ever tried.:frog:

Thanks again Jeff,

I checked here locally and there isn't much in the way of kites here. I'll send you a u2u to discuss possibilities.
