1-5pm huge cell PLOWS into us! big burst 51mph. i had just put down. i undo oneside of the lines. board harness on the LE and boom! my junk ripped off the ground tumble flies1/4mile into pines trees ..in the blink of an eye ...gone! 2 big tears in the left canopy all the way to LE and 1m square of material missing.

...but all fixed now. flew it today for couple laps then back to the 13.

intense microburst ! water was totally ragged out .

Happened to me earlier this year... was out on the 21, wind started to pick up so I came in, landed and secured the kite then BOOM huge gust! Parked kites bowling downwind...

i was coming in anyway. incredible day!
