Harness for buggying

Anyone have a harness w/leg loops and spreader bar that's comfortable to sit in a buggy..that they don't need/use anymore?

I'm about a 31.5" waist give or take a 1/2 inch.

Looking for something in decent usable shape at good price.

I don't have any used, but if you can't find a used one, we have the Peter Lynn base harness which is specifically designed for buggy pilots. It is super comfortable and comes with the roller-spreader for use with handles and a strop (link line). Cost is $90.00 new.

Popeye had a little pole going on over on Facebook. Seems that the majority of riders are really loving the Peter Lynn Divine harness - thats what I use.

Think you will find, the majority of the European race scene use this harness....."substantial", and for the price Kent is offering them for...is a bargain, I paid over £100GBP for mine.

I can see from pics...

Yes, the Divine model looks very much like a proper and popular harness for comfortable sitting and substantial over the base model.... And of course a lot more $ (w/ spreader bar options added) than base .

great tip:yes: on the right kind... thanks guys.

(Have a meager but workable harness w/ leg loops now. Was looking for better... and extra adj. for winter bulk)

But..... still looking to see if any used suitable harness around at the moment. Lots of time but no income right now:no:

.....we'll see.

Hey ski, I've got an Ozone Access XC "snowkite" harness with 'D' ring, bought in '08-'09, used mostly for snow, a little beach use, never in the water.(only splashed on) It's in very good condition, I only offer it because I got martinipro's Ozone harness with spreader bar from him, and I've used that ever since. Chicken loop will attach dirctly to the 'D' ring, or you could use a climbing 'biner, for a quick attachment point. I'd like to get $70.00 shipped. I can post a pic if you want.

If you are using a QR system, the wichard would attach to the D ring, and release your pully block/strop, If not using the QR (this is how I did it, not elegant, but works) You larkshead your strop to the powerline extension on one handle, feed it through the D ring, then loop the other end of the strop over the top of the other handle, so that when you let go, the loop slips off the top of the handle, and the strop feeds out through the D ring. Like I said, not elegant, but works. Totally understand if your heart is set on a harness with spreader/pad, it's why I bought Martin's. Good luck on your search.

I've been using a Dakine Nitrous boardshort harness for @ 3 years now, the nice thing is I can use it for the buggy and on water too.

The Divine first for buggys, PL Radical 2nd. I use the radical as i can use it easier for other stuff. But there is a hand grab on the back of the radical that some dont like when you sit. I don't notice it, but i'm extra padded.
