I am not completely on top of the racing scene but am pretty shocked to see that almost every rider is on the same kite ! You would never know this is

ya, I've noticed that too, testament to the efficiency of the kite!
I've been meaning to try an edge and also a c4 as well.

I was pretty flabrgasted when I saw this. Somehow I expected a variety of kites would be competetive. Thinking of the Flysurfer speed, Cabrihna and
such. This isn't traditionaly OZ country?
At the same time I was thinking , if this kite is " all of that " why isn't it winning races on land ????? I am VERY CURIOUS how this kite stands up
on the buggy race circuit and if it's not being used WHY ???
IndiGO ... What do you know? Euro' crowd?

The top guys Adam Koch and Johnny Heineken are riding for Ozone. My guess is there are a lot of guys buying gear because of what they have. They
also ride Mike Labs boards and now everyone wants one. North created the Dyno which you will see a lot of on race day. There are no Flysurfers in
the SF races nor are there any at the spots I have been to around the bay area. They are more Euro. Bryan Lake rides Cabrinha.

YES, that is the explanation locally. Everybody wants the winning kite. So far that's only OZ
I suppose as the sport matures others will come from behind and be the winner. With buggy racing having been around a few brands have had that #1
spot. Explains why there are a few different brands competing ?
I am still very curious if anybody has taken this kite up against the fastest land kites!

simple design, direct connect, no pulleys, bar pressure spot on, clean and functional bar.....the total package...........I was stuck between the
Zephyr and Edge but made the correct choice for me (Zephyr).............I ride while others sit and wait........not quite the low end of the SA 19 but
only a couple knots difference. The Zephyr has met and exceeded all my expectations so I'm very pleased....the C4 and Catalyst are sweet as
well........12m Cat will be my next kite..........
