FYI - Head's up for anyone heading down...
Beach is still pretty gnarly at Cranberry...with all the North coastal wind and currents, there's some pretty good tidal ravines and washboard action...

There's one decent flat/wider spot about 1/4 mile North of the approach.

The approach itself wasn't too bad but there's just NOT a lot of FLAT hard-pack.

BRING YOUR SHOCK ABSORBERS, BACK BRACES, and 4x4!! :cool2:

No I'll park on the approach load three or four kites kites and fly to the parking area, if the wind is moving at all. Plan on being there Saturday early afternoon.
Save some wind for me.

The flying at WSIKF has been great. Monday and Tuesday morn. Light wind. Tuesday afternoon wind picked up more from the west. Followed the tide out for an hour or so, great fun finally being able to fly my 6 m. Had a ball, running salon between people and kites.
If others come out we can now set up in field E. This will keep beach squatters from sunbathing between our kites. :)

Come join us. Winds are forecast good rest of the week.
