K'nex vs. Lego

Which do you prefer?

I'm for S-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-nex 100%. I have 22,000 pieces and am getting more all the time. I have built 5 foot tall rollercoasters and a 8 foot tall ferris wheel. I am curently building a calculator that is purely mechanical and doesn't use logic gates and trying to make a kite around the 5m range.

Arcs - Charger I 8m, 10m, 12m, Venom I 13m - F-Arc 1200, 1600
Single Skin - Born-Kite LongStar2
Fixed Bridles - Pansh Legend 4.5m - Peter Lynn Voltage 3m

S-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-nex is after my time... no idea what it can do. I like Lego though, especially the technical version.

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

knex has so many possibilities beyond the stacking of blocks with legos. BUT, go to legoland and see what is possible on that front.

I enjoy Lego but with a 10 and 5 year old running around you definitely get tired of stepping on them.

You guys have a lot of spare time on your hands don't you?

As far as a favorite choking hazard goes, S-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-nex go down way smoother before lodging in one's esophogus. :wee:
