Ok I have never set up a poll so this is just going to be by response. I have leads on 2 fairly large areas to kite at in Oklahoma. I am still looking at how big. One is a sod farm and one is a field that the A.K.A. sets up a festival in. My plan is to see if I can't set something up like a Central Buggy Event. Anyways is there any real interest in something like this. Apparently the town of Enid real supports the kiting event that is held there for the A.K.A.

I'll be there. Its only an hour drive till I hit the edge of oklahoma.

I for one would love a central plains event.
There is a small cadre of kiters in Denver and a few of us do traction and could probably make it.
Can you append onto the AKA event or are they using too much of the field?
I expect that when you start an even you should expect a few thin years as the existence of the event spreads by word of mouth.
