NOOB GETTING BIGGER KITE

Currently have the Beamer V3 quad line. Looking at SDT 5.5 meter, Hornet II 6.0 meter or RS PRO 5.0 meter. I weigh 240 lbs and the 3 meter just doesn't do it for me in less than 25mph winds. Any suggestions out there?

Flying static for now. I am just fine with being dragged down the beach. Board looks like an accident waiting to happen and the buggies I have seen r in the $700 range........too much for now. Besides need to get a bigger kite first.

out of those that you mentioned, the SkyDog has much more oomph than the Hornet has. I can't tell you about the Radsails. The Viper mentioned previously is a great kite as well. If buggying is in your future, look at the Reactors and Toxic as well.

Got a lot of demos(most of what you are looking at and many more) in that size range and you are more than welcomed to try before you decide. Might help a bit in finding what works best for you, before you buy and sell, buy and sell, buy and sell. Well that's what I've heard people do. I just buy, and try.
