My first GoPro video (warning it sucks). I was at NY's Atlantic Beach on Friday. I met up with forum member ABKAYAK. Unfortunately by the time I got
there high tide was in FULL effect. I had about four feet of beach to ride. But it was warm and the water was too so I made the best of it.
I didnt tighten my camera mount enough so eventually all you see is my front wheel(humor me please). And I edited it on a Sony PS3. (Who Knew?)

I had fun once I got going. The soft stuff was a little too soft and the hard was almost non-existent. Barely any room to turn around. But I had
fun.... Aparantely so much that I didn't notice I was covered in mud... :tumble:

Looking good Cheezy, you are in complete control at all times.
I am curious about Atlantic beach. How wide at low tide? What direction does it face? How long?
The sound track is really not what I would have expected from the man who suggested smack my #@%$#! up for Todd's video.
See you next month.
At low tide there is enough room for passing but not much. The beach has got to be several miles as it comprises Atlantic/Long/Lido beaches. South
wind is dead onshore. I had a south wind but it was tapering off. Maybe 12-15mph. I chose a generic tune that wouldn't get blocked by YouTube.

we ran a little shy of hardpack, but wind was steady and nice an eve as one could have... he came off that buggy covered in some of long islands
finest.. only wish i had a camera for that moment.
Great stuff bro! Love that you took a bath at the same time! Actually dig the tunes as well!
Ken, I must admit, when controlling the bar one handed I tend to keep it palm up rather than palm down. For me, it is easier to use my thumb to help
push the bar end down to get the kite going down. Now when under good power, I ride with both hands palm down just so I am ready for anything that may
get me! A little more uncomfortable, but better grip overall!
I think I am always turning or setting up for one around here so must remain on top of the bar. I noticed I was doing it at SOBB and was questioning
myself. It came naturally so ???
what i still don't understand why people fly with a bar instead of handels.
i've tried it but i missed about 50% of control and steering compared with handels..
