Does anyone know who sells the version of the ozone megatron chicken loop made for non-depower bars in the USA? And if so how much they cost? This is the version that larks heads onto any fixed birdle bar.

Kent at www.awindofchange.com should be able to get it for you as a replacement part.

It's the same Megatron Chicken Loop that is on the newer Ozone standard (not Turbo) bar for quad line foils.

The chicken loop has a length of PU covered dyneema that transitions into a webbing strap that terminates with a pulley. There is a line that runs through the pulley and each end attaches to a brake line. Part way up the strap there is an additional velcro coated length of webbing and a sews dyneema loop. The extra webbing section goes around the center of the bar, through the dyneema loop and velcros back to itself. It's cinched down tight so that the friction of it against the bar's EVA covering prevents lateral movement of the connection point.

The upper portion of the webbing serves as a landing strap. And is connected to a wrist leash so that letting go of the bar engages the brakes.

I have that bar and the one that comes with the pure (a 3 line version of Flow). I am only talking about the megatron loop up to the velcro bar attachment part. It looks like they sell it in europe in addition to the regular de-power version for their other foils.

If you just want the Megatron Loop and the beal line it won't be cheap.

$45 for the non-PU-coated version and $75 for the coated version.

You might have to adjust the length of the beal line and do some work for the attachment point, as the one that comes with the fixed bridle control bar is sewn to the webbing strap.

I have the chicken loops in stock, but I am out of the ones that you have pictured that has the Megatron connected with the velcro straps for the fixed line bars. I should have some more coming in in about 2 weeks. Let me know and I will hold one out for you.
