We live in a very sheltered valley and at 26f we had a good frost this morning :eekdrull: . We normally are safe into November here. :puzzled:
I have been telling people all fall this will be a tough winter. Lots of big acorns and pine cones. Mother nature knows.:bigok:

Acorns and pinecones determine Winter?

....That's nuts!:o

C'mon lakes, start freezing!

Anyone have tire chains for buggy wheels?

After record hot summer, could the Winter do a topsy turvey and be record cold and snowy?

It was crazy cold .... riding water for 3h in double wet suit and hoodie ..... on end it felt just like session in winter ......
I be not surprise if we get snow any day now ..... I would love to snowkite on a beach again ....

Here is something I want to share from yesterday ....

Yeah, it has been cold here as well. Saw my first bit of ice on the work truck tarps on Friday. Very shocking here already. We also had snow last Halloween, just flurries, but hey, it is DE.

Wore my long johns yesterday for the first time. I was in a parade and knew it was going to be cold!

Hoping for good session tomorrow at our local spot. SSW winds, 10-16! Look out 18m Phantom!
