Side zip Goretex ski pants. Room for knee pads INSIDE. Easy on over shorts and easy off at end of day. Good for wet beaches too.

I love Nahant but rarely get there anymore.

I'm currently riding it some cheap, insulated snowboarding pants from Big5 Sporting Goods. They work great and are super comfortable, especially in the cold weather. I think I paid like $40 for them.

I usually wear some sort of waterproof pant which rarely lasts a week. Admitedly they are cheap ones. I have considered taking a cheap pair of large jeans and treating them with oilskin or other waterproofing material. I have always wondered how that would work. What do people think?

so far that is what I keep doing. I have gortex that I use in the snow but I hesitate to use them on the beach cause my rain pants keep getting ruined.

Simple rain pants . I keep a set of them and a simple shell in my bag. They pack up tiny and I actually end up pulling them out for extreme conditions.

Shorts are best because it means it's a nice warm day and I'm on a beach.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

To keep the bulk down with harness and movement, I usually wear a pair of PATAGONIA 100% waterproof shell pants.. pronounced PATAGUCCI due to its price.... I put them on over a nice comfortable pair of jeans and when it's really cold a pair of thin thermals under them.

I've also seen those crazy Canadians wearing wet suits....yelling words I can't pronounce, but I'm sure I've said many, many times in my own native tongue

I wear either my moto gear or I also have several pair of military surplus Cargo pants. Very comfortable, extra pockets, and not to mention you can pick them up cheap and layer under them when you have to.

Wear same material kite is made from..

Nylon Windpants! Your in the wind(hopefully!) and this blocks it from taking heat away from your body. More so, synthetics are best for moisture from sweating, puddles or precip (if it may be an issue), and fast drying. Layer with more synth underneath(long johns)in colder temps. Cargo pockets on pants(w/zip) always good for keys, digital mini camera at the hand, Etc.

I use my oldest pair of powder (ski) pants which I recently sprayed with Kit Refit for kicks and giggles to help improve their water / wind proofing as winter approaches. Seemed to work great
