I know i'm a bit bias :) But I would genuinely suggest getting a kite next. You can never have too much flying skills/ practice, and I think you would really struggle to even get moving with a 2.1m. If you could get moving you would have a small workable wind range.

See what other guys and gals say first :)

A four line kite next.

Depending on your size, I might steer you towards the new Pansh Adam in the 3.5 meter size. You can set this 4 line kite to fly nicely on a bar. You can also use this kite on water as it is closed cell so you can do some body dragging and start to learn kite control in the water as well.

The 3.5 Adam (depending on your size, skill and wind speed) will get you moving on a board. It is a very stable kite and very easy to park at the edge of the window.

It is very beginner friendly.

I am mainly a PL arc flyer but I have added a few of these Pansh Adams to my quiver to teach with.

Even though the Adam is not a depowed kite, I have been working on a mod to borrow the 5th line safety feature from depow kites and add it to the Adam for flying on a bar.
I feel this addition will make this a very safe kite on a bar but will not make it depowerable.

Anyway that is my 2 cents on this.

The other options would be a Scout, Impulse or Viron IMHO.

Yeah I would get yourself a 4 line kite and give yourself some time with that while you are getting the cash together for a board. Get a harness too.

If you are short of money look at BluEarth (bluearthatb.com) for a board. They are a small company selling boards with decent specs for very good prices.

As for kites I would recommend looking at the Peter Lynn Twister. Its the best all round landboarding fixed bridle I have tried and again is well priced.
