Did that all day last Fall WBB. The wind was side shore and I buggied from the water back to the dunes (that was in my ivanpah). So much fun! As the
winds died down later in the day I had to upgrade to my 2M beamer now thats power!!!! lol
Here's one with a 1.4M Beamer III in blasting winds at Southwick Beach, from back a few years. Kind of poor quality video, but I still got buggying
in that wind!

I have used a 1.7 sting in high winds. I have a 2.4 combat and the little busters that I fly with now. Gotta watch those little ones though they can
be like lightnin'..
We even have bigger winds forecasted here in Atlanta for Saturday... Not near as big as the coast,... But still fun for me... 14 - 18 kts means an
awesome day at the park Sat. with the 2.6m viper :singing:
Looks like Sunday is going to be the only day for me to ride. I can handle my 8m in 30-35mph winds but after that it gets to be too much. Really
need to invest in a 6m.
Be careful! They are talking about Hurricane Sandy meeting up with that low pressure arctic system and are already calling it "Frankenstorm" - They
say it looks to reminiscent of the "Perfect Storm" of '91...

Man O Man, I have something to deal with in NY next week and was about to pull off the scam of the year with my wife and leave 5 days early and go to
WW before NY.
Now I have to put it off because of Sandy the Storm. My wife said no trip until after the storm.
Like going to a great movie, popcorn, drink, Nestle Crunch Dips, Box of soft red licorice, and a front row seat, and I fall asleep half way through
and wake up to see the credits. GRRRR. Will just have to wait till spring. But the Nestle Crunch Dips and licorice sounds good for lunch.
Enjoy guys. Better to be safe than famous for the last breath.

The eye of the storm is about 12 miles from our house now and going to literally pass right over us. The winds have been howling for hours on end now.
The rain has been pounding all day. Luckily the storm is usually the weakest at the eye, but it ain't no picnic here now!

oh damn, thats intense, we got 60 right now here up in toronto, not sustained just gusts, I want to experience a hurricane first hand
That's in km/h - about 40 mph. Since then it's picked up; rain's going sideways and tree limbs are blowing down my street.
Here are some news pics of the front moving in to the Jersey coast on the weekend. Buggydanny is in pic #4:

Here's some perspective on the size of Sandy (deemed one of the biggest storms to hit the east coast ... Ever)... To the best of my knowledge the
storm hit the shore near NYC, (haven't seen the news) I am camping on Jekyll Island which is roughly 14 to 16 hrs south of there,... And we were
getting 14 to 20 mph winds off shore from Sandy on the beach today,... Man, she be a big girl. :wow:
