carbon rear axle

Hi,

For the last month I've been working on a carbon axle. Please follow the link and tell me what you think. I am curious if anyone would consider buying such an axle.

Regards Frans

It looks really good. its wrapped carbon tubing right? how thick are the walls. Carbon is a very interesting animal. Very strong but can be very brittle also. And when it does fail it goes big aka it shatters or splinters. I speak from experience. I like to make stunt kites and I use carbon most of the time.

Dont let me scar anybody off of this. Judging by the buggy the axle is attached to, the carbon axle can take alot of abuse.

Thickness of the wall is 3mm. I can handle a lot of abuse, but ofcourse has different characteristics compared to steel

wow. Ive never seen tubes with walls that thick. What kind of flex does it have. that tube should be able to take hundreds of pounds of force.

how much does it weigh.
