I you still have the 16m Venom II, I am interested in it. What kind of bar is needed for this kite? I have a few bars from some "C" kites. Would those work? Does it have to be a Peter Lynn bar?

Answer to bar question from bourgeois.jason........

I use a heavily mod'd Peter Lynn bar myself. It is made up of several different manufacturer components included a trim strap from a Best 09 LEI bar.
If it is a 4 line bar where all lines are equal it should work. I also have flown arcs on a Griffin LEI bar with great success.

Sometimes, depending on the bar, pigtails need to be added to either LE or TE to tune kite in.

Sometimes an existing 4 line bar will need heavy mods to work it is hard to say.

A bar in the 50cm to 60cm range would do nicely on this 16m VII.....

Of course to make sure things work well for a first time arc user I would highly recommend a stock PL 07 bar or a new Navi bar.
