Choosing a training kite

What should I look for when choosing a training kite?

Ultimately I want to use a land board on the beach and appreciate that I need to learn to fly a kite first.

All help appreciated.

Radsail the ideal trainer

The Radsail 3m or the HQ Beamer 2.5m both make superb trainer kites and they wont burst the bank.

Try these guys for a good price. I just got a Radsail 4m Pro from them and it was on my door step the next day.

The rhombus firebee 3m is a good kite, cheap too, although its better suited to buggies
