Winter Conditions at Sunset Beach

I'm heading over to buggy at Sunset beach in December. Is the wind any good at this time? Any recommendations?
Thanks.

you are likely i for a south or east wind. south means you will be doing a down winder from the south entrance and will need to be picked up at the north end. Or just stay to a small area. East winds are pretty inconsistent and bumpy (at least compared to west winds).

If recent weather is a predictor, it'll be wet 48-55F with spratic east wind

Here's some history wind logs from december.. one on the beach (way south) and one at astoria on the river.
