I don't suppose you flew the last bunch of Manta 3's and can offer a comparison? I've only had a few sessions with the Manta 3 and quite enjoyed it. But I thought it was lacking in the bottom end - certainly not a light wind weapon.

Yes, John, I can offer a comparison as back then, three and four years ago, I was flying the M3. The Summit is faster then both the M3 and the latest Frenzy. However the latest Frenzy, with it's slightly deeper wing profile and slightly flatter form has lighter bar pressure and is slightly better (esp the Ultralite) in light winds. The Summit is slightly more "C" shaped in its profile. I believe this may be contributing to it's faster wing speed and its slightly heavier bar feel. Being such a strong looping kite, I just loop it in the power zone to get the max pull in light winds. On the bottom end on the snow, in about 5mph winds, it drops. Above that, I can get moving.
