Watched a little dog at the ocean leave the beach for an eagle lunch a few years ago, so we keep an eye on Levi as he pees on every beach item when
not in the RV.
The toddler will have one good story to tell the grandkids, "When I was still in diapers an eagle tried to take me out to lunch one day and after I
told the bird I was a vegetarian he dropped me off and went looking for something better tasting" I bet mom and dad will invest in a child leash for the next time they go outside. Or at least keep an eagle eye on
the kids next time.:embarrased:

The people say its faked say the shadows of the trees and the eagle are wrong. They seem to line up to me. If it is a fake, it's probably hundreds
of hours of work.
If it is not faked, what a terrifying moment for mom. I have seen Bald snatch up a 36" northern pike that we had just bonked. It was easily heavier
than baby.

There was a story of this happening to a little kid in my home town around 98 or 99. If this video wasn't faked then I definatly believe the family
in happend to when I was growing up
After looking at it..it appears genuine for many reasons. The most suspect is the 'coincendence' of beginning-that camerman just happens to be
following an eagle as it swoops down.You don't see alot of those birds in suburbia and you may not notice even... but he might have noticed and
thought the novelty of capturing it before what occured...?
Always always....just like your kite..... tie off your kid to a stake in the ground!

On a serious note, I take our pet parrot outside often in the summer and I always get a little paranoid about how easy it would be for a predator to
just swoop down and snatch her away. She would make for one expensive meal!

My initial doubt about how and why a cameraman would even be there...following flight from the beginning was being overridden by great quality
animation..and even slow motion detail.

Very true of the larger varieties, that is why we own a white bellied caique, they are of the medium size. Although she has inflicted the occasional
bloody flesh wound, she is no threat to taking a finger completely off.

I have the lastest on this. It transpires that the Montreal school that claimed to fake the baby snatching eagle, was itself a hoax. A hoax of a hoax.
