I need to get out and kite!!!
Between moving in the beginning of November (which caused me to cancel my WBB plans ) and working on the new house/holidays etc. I have not had a
chance to get out in almost 2 months. Hopefully this weekend I can get out for a little.
Also right before I moved I lost my buggy spot. I can still fly static but no buggy for now. I need to email the park manager and try to work
something out. It did not help that my friend who was with me started arguing with her as I was packing the buggy up about our rights to be their,
taxes, blah blah blah. She actually threatened to call the police. I was able to get my friend to calm down and in the car but I am sure he set me
back a few notches. What annoys me even more is he has nothing invested in this sport. It is all my gear so I am the one who loses out. I have been
in a few situations with him dealing with park rangers while mountain biking and should have learned my lesson. I am pretty confident if It was just
me. I could have worked something out there on the spot Now I need to contact her apologize and work on getting back there ( it was a pretty good spot
and on my way home from work)
Now I need to start going through Google maps looking for a suitable buggy spot near me.
Sorry for the rant it has been brewing for a while

Thanks for the offer Rich and I would love to come down that way but we just have too much going on this weekend for me to sneak away for the day. I
think I just might go out and fly static in the morning for about a hour

Cyclesteel...Google how far you are away from Avon, NY..I would L O V E to go down to wildwood and run the beach with Rich and the crew but the
drive is a little long...It's well worth it as far as that beach goes because there is nothing like it. (yeah I'm sure out west has some pretty nice
spaces too) LOL
If the drive isn't too bad, maybe some weekend after the holidays pass, we can get together and buggy in some fields I have here. (1000 acre lots) and
many to choose from.
Always wanted to do what Rich does with the WBB and have some type of event here, but as you know winds are very unpredictable here. Although I'm
sure we could manage having fun with a nice pig roast and bon-fire if the wind never panned out.

I am a little late on replying to the thread but I never did get out. Just too much going on.
BEC I am about 350 miles from you. A little far for a day trip :-) I do appreciate the offer though. There are a bunch of farms around me with large
fields I think I might have to start asking some of my “neighbors “ if a can buggy on them
