Has anyone ever seen or fabricated a bearing style head stock out of the original? (Just like a PL) without having to purchase a PL downtube and fork. Just wondering, as it would be a nice way to rid myself of annoying nylon spacers and would probably feel a lot better too.

I've seen pics where people have converted them over to needle bearings it seems. It would take a bit of fabrication but not a problem for someone with a bit of experience.

Have you had a lot of trouble with the nylon bushings. Mine is worn out, but I bought mine used from who used it pretty heavily. It is over five years old. Once in five years does not seem like excessive maintenance. I certainly would not go to a PL front end. My PL fork lasted less than a year before the lower brace broke. I think a new fork was $125. What does trike buggy for a new headset bushing?

The bearings are higher maintenance than the bushings IMHO. Some silicone spray or non petroleum bike chain lube will keep it slick without attracting sand and dirt.

I've sprayed the crap out of it with all sorts of things (teflon dry lube)....It's the original and it is really worn out. There is actually some play in the headset now. I didn't want to get the PL downtube and fork...I was wondering if there was a way to put a bearing in my flexifoil headset or fork. I did also contact trikebuggy today to see if he has these in stock...

Bty...trikebuggy is now offering the wide axle for the flexifoil where you can reduce the width for transportation...NICE...Its just like the idea someone posted on here like a week ago.

Hey Bob, Do you think a PL seat would be better then my original. I just got my divine harness the other day and WOW! What a difference and I haven't even flown with it yet. Only reason for new seat would be to have the siderail pads go under all the straps.

The pl seat will give you a deeper position for more security along with having side rail pads. Win win.

Check the head stock on the kids bikes and trikes , you'd be surprized at how much of that tubing stock is the same size.

I need a pic of the Flexifoil head tube without the fork attached.

@snowspider...kids were all worried about their bikes when I went out and started poking around with the digital cal. They don't care when their 300.00 mountain bike sits outside in the rain for a week with the chain rusting but I guess this worried them..haha
