You want something with more layers than usual... I have a Flexifoil Kava which is, I think, 13 layers of whatever wood is laminated in there. No
worries about breaking it... unfortunately, it's a heavy bugger - you won't be doing airstyle on it

im just looking for something to cruise and get started on,mainly a tank that will take my big butt.Its fine if its a little heavy,heavier they are
the faster they go down hill.

Heh... the Kava is pretty low to the ground and flexible - good for cruising but jumping up and down can drag the center on the ground.
I dunno, I was thinking again - maybe the new boards are a lot tougher...? Hopefully heavier and more talented guys will join in
