After reading many of the posts on this site I realize that newby ground is well worn, but I felt like I had a pretty specific question. So please
forgive me if I am covering old ground.
I am a newby. I have been flying a small two line stunt kite for a season and I am interested in flying something bigger. I have long been a
snowboarder and wakeboarder and thus kiteboarding has appeal for me.
A friend of mine (recently a father) would sell me a near new Peter Lynn Arc 1120 and a board for well below what they are worth. I am confident that
I would hurt myself if I jumped right into a kite of this size and I'd really like to have a land kite anyway.
Does anybody have any recommendations for kites that might make a good learner to transition into the PLK Arc that might also be fun for general
flying (and maybe some very small jumps)? I guess it might be best if said kite could be flown on a bar or not...
