blade 4

Hi guys, just registered wanted to have some feed back from you guys on the new blades.

I had a blade 3 and am now flying a blade and don't own a blade 3 anymore.

Un like other rewiews i have read on these i have not fallen immiediately in love with my new kite. The new bridle system though gives some range for the kites performance generally gives me more knots and tangles to deal with every time i want to fly. It does seem to give more lift especially on the bottom setting but the kite flys much worse when set like this. In my experience only flying well in the centre of the window.

The bag is also much smaller so the kite needs to be folded very well to get into it. In high winds on my own this has corsed me problems.

How are you guys getting on with yours?

There is this is a great kite in other ways. especially for jumping but, so far i think i'd like my blde 3 back. boo hoo :)

peace

New blade IV is very much improved when compare with B III.More bridles is not that big of a problem and it give You comfort that nothinfg will snap while jumping not like older models plus You can now change setings up to Your style of flying.I have found that it is little more floaty than 3 and turn faster. As to bag it's OK and have better ziper system so You won't cut Your kite while closeing the bag.I think You should practice more folding Your kites ,I never had problem with fitting kite to the bag.If You want I can switch with You, replaceing Your new kite with same size B III :).When folding Your kite first park kite and fold lines on handles to the point where main lines meet bridles, than walk around kite with handles and pull bridles bu puting handles in center/front of the kite.Start to fold kite both sides to the center, than fold this again fron buttom kite to the front. That way Your handles and lines on handles will be outside the kite witch will alow lines to dry if You had ,,wet'' sesion.here is flying tips in photos from Ozone http://www.flyozone.com/ozkites/kframe.htm
Cheers

I agree, the bag is stupidly small.. I'd do with an inch wider and thicker..... Hard to get it in with the line and handles ( I para-pack)..

The Kite Rocks though.. Love pulling out my Blade.:singing:
The Bridal system came in handy today with low wind.. After adjusting it, She climbed and flew well.
